Sculptor, surf board designer, and Brooklynite Nobi Shioya has bottled his memory of the Pacific and its juxtaposition alongside the industrial and artificial aromas of boards, wax, and wetsuits to make S-Perfume. Containing ozone and oxygen and mixed with musk and an organic secret Shioya calls "spirit of life," the fragrance is packaged in tiny portable spray vials and numbered (there are only 10,000 of these first-batch uni-doses). Once they are gone, the scent will be altered, using input from surfers and land-locked consumers. $16.50.
